After a long hiatus from updating the web page, assembly of the airplane is finally getting underway.
Over the past year, the interior upholstery has been completely redone in the original turquoise and cream colors.  The fuel gages, dash markings, Cessna yoke logos, and so on have all been repainted, re-brushed, detailed and prepared for re-assembly.  Attention to detail is apparent in every respect right down to the Cessna logos.  As one small example of the meticulous nature of the work over the summer, the yokes received a yellow undercoat prior to the red final coat giving the logos a like new appearance while maintaining the aged look.  This attention to detail, preservation of authenticity, thorough interior redo, highly polished exterior, and the "original pattern" high gloss paint scheme makes for a visually stunning combination.
On the exterior components, the new doors have been carefully re-fitted, all new glass is being installed, and the final reconstruction and balancing of the ailerons is complete.
All material required for assembly is packaged, on-site, and ready for the tedious and careful assembly process.  An update and accompanying pictures will be coming in December as we begin installation of the wings this month.

Stay tuned.  The rewards of the diligent efforts of all involved will begin to show over the next few months.
